Meet Dr. Yingnan Zhang (San Antonio, TX)

Dr. Yingnan Zhang is a therapeutic optometrist who graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in May 2026. She also holds an MD and PhD in Ophthalmology and Vision Science from Capital Medical University in China. Prior to pursuing optometry in the United States, Dr. Zhang completed an ophthalmology residency and a fellowship in cornea and anterior segment diseases at Beijing Tongren Hospital.

Dr. Zhang’s clinical interests include comprehensive eye care, myopia management, dry eye disease, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and anterior segment disorders. She is experienced in refraction, contact lens fitting, and advanced diagnostic technologies, including OCT, visual field testing, and corneal topography. She is committed to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
